Both, ugly and autistic didn’t even speak in primary school and middle school so I was socially crippled in high school. All of this shit made me socially retarded and friendless now.

The "friends" one makes a few years after college are more like friendly acquaintances than actual companions. People already have their friendship circles established and need no weird, ugly, low-status outsiders in it.

I kinda understand cutting those friendships. One of my "friends" was a tyronelite who would bang every girl he saw, emo, gamer, sheboon, stacy. Whatever and they all loved him. So it was kinda hard to be around him and he was kinda a douche too
