I havent been around long enough to tell a difference but if i had to guess it's probably cause the internet as a whole has gotten more extreme most of the edgy stuff said here can be found on more normie sites like Instagram or twitter. they probably are more interested in focusing there efforts on larger sites than some small forums

Sadly moderation was harsher back then so many users got banned but ironically you were allowed to post selfies so users that didn’t get banned ended up being exposed.

The high IQ posts were actually really cool. But it was so heavily moderated especially by the guy who looked very gay. Literally all the old users have “permanently banned” as their status.

The selfies rule came in 2018 I think. But yeah the posts from mid 2018 were better than most of the things you get here now especially because so many current users have a tendency to just post their own version of an already popular thread someone else posted earlier that day.
