My main issue with this is the distance, the cultural difference, and aesthetic/racial difference.

It costs too much to get that door open to start with. Then there's the language barrier. Sure they can learn and know english, but they also have their own language that you will never learn or understand. You'll always be atleast 2 steps behind because of this.
