In the past women would not be able to have such high standards regarding looks as they needed to choose partner for marriage wisely as divorce was shamed. If she has chosen Chad bad boy that spent half his youth in prison she would have miserable life despite he would give her tingles. So women needed to make compromises: less attractive but have good carrier and/or stable personality. Moreover there was pressure for both men and women to marry which means people were choosing more or less partners with similar SMV. Slutting around was shamed which means women won't do one night stands with Chads out of her league.
Now there is no pressure to marry, divorce is celebrated and slut shaming is considered misogynistic. Only thing left to do is sit and watch world burn.

There is an element of truth to what he says. Hypergamy exists, but nowhere near to the extent the copers on this site will have you believe.
Technology has just become the tool that we use to find dating, and sites like Tinder make it obvious what really is interesting to foids. Even 3/10 and less will get a bombardment of likes from 6+/10 guys because that’s simply how hypergamy works, while any guy that is not at least 7-8+/10 doesn’t stand a chance. I agree in saying that this has made it much more common with technology, because now on Tinder you only see the person’s face at first. Social media centers so much around photos and one’s face, that if you don’t make the cut, you won’t make it in life
