Why are some interracial couples tolerated and others viewed with disdain?

It seems that Black male & White female, BMWF pairings face the most negative criticism. My theory is that it’s because blacks have a greater degree of aesthetic distance from a white perspective when compared to other “non white” races. The deviant is not just skin color and hair texture but also facial features. Mulatto children almost always look entirely black, unless the black parent has some non-black admixture.



WMAF (white male, asian female) is becoming the most common interracial pairing. It’s so common that most people seem to tolerate it and not fuss about it. The deviation Asians have from Whites is the eye area; monolids, lack of depth in brow ridge, shape of nose. Hapa children are a mixed bag. Some are unlucky, will look 100% Asian, inheriting the stereotypical “chink” look.

Others will look ambigious, others will look Eurasian with good expression of Caucasoid traits. They will be light complexion with straight hair, so not too much deviation when compared to mulattos. AMWF (asian male, white female) is so rare, general public is not bothered by it.

Hispanics (as long as not too Amerindian looking) and Middle Easterns tend to have similar brow ridge structure and deep set eyes as Whites. The offspring of these two admixture pairing with a White spouse can pass off as white as long as skin is light complexion.

It seems that interracial couples will face either tolerance or disdain/opposition based on how much difference in their facial features from one another there is and what their potential offspring will look like.

In other words how much deviation is there from the western aesthetic standard?

A BMWF interracial pairing stands out and raises disdain because the the clear and distinct differences in aesthetics is very visible and the mixed children will clearly have a different skin color and hair texture too different from the western ideal. Versus a mixed asian or hispanic will not face as much scrutiny because the offspring hopefully will have some Caucasoid features still expressed making them tolerable.

And obviously due to Asian fetishisms from white males, half asian female offsprings who are evenly mixed or are white passing are considered genetic winners in the sweepstakes. This is primarily based on the fact that they have some features that would meet western standards of aesthetics due to some Caucasoid features expressed from the admixture while still having some level of exoticism.
