If it was ten men a day in your country, and just one in those ten decided to take people with him, I think we would find funding was suddenly a priority.

Counterintuitivly one could argue that although such action would cost innocent lives in the short term, from a utilitarian perspective it would save many many more in the long run. Was ER unknowingly acting for the greater good?
