I don't see the appeal of Casinos. I've went to Macau (the Las Vegas of the East) for a trip where my family and me went into the casinos for a visit.

The atmosphere was well, dystopian. You are in the casino, deep inside with no light or grass; you are just there in the "hotel" atmosphere, with the perfume and lights, which is almost like a parody of the "rich" lifestyle.

Most importantly: the House always win. Do people not get that?

When you roll up a slot machine, the chances are already predetermined. There is no 'almost winning'; even if there was, it is not reflected in the UX/UI where every loss is an "almost win"

You could invest in the worst stocks, and at least get some return (even if at a profit loss) but at a casino, it is almost guaranteed for you to lose money.

In the rare case where the house 'loses', they can simply say it was a glitch and lobby some lawyers/judges against you.

Conspiracy theory: only 1/5 'winners' in a casino are authentic, the rest are just their associates pocketing the money back into the loop hence in some places winners are anonymous.

Yes, there is a small but realistic chance you can make a profit if you only gamble a few times. Once you start gambling frequently, the law of large numbers will decimate any chance of making a net profit.
