Battlefront 2 was not a flop just in the middle of what EA was expecting but since game still sells they are okay with it

BFV: It sold 7.3 million units by the end of 2018, but was a commercial disappointment for Electronic Arts

It was a flop, then they expected way more from BFV

BF2042:4.23 million copies sold in first week

And no information how much it sold after that date. Now EA has massive hopes for BF6 way bigger than any game before and we can see all recent games underperformed or even flopped. So 100 mil copies hell even quarter of that is impossible to reach. Dice will get shut down or downsized and relegated as some other dev team helpers like Ghost games so they could shut them down completely after few years.
