It’s obvious that boomers had it way easier when they were young they got to live free for the most part and didn’t have to live through a global pandemic and economic recession. Yet they still call the younger generation stupid and lazy and also want to take any opportunities away from younger people. They are so desperate to hold onto any power they still have left.

Because they were the first generation to be convinced that breaking down the constructs of a functioning, healthy society was a good thing. They were the first to embrace the sexual revolution which lead to the breakdown of marriage, of monogamy and a healthy environment to raise children in. Everyone was telling them that the greatest thing you can pursue is your own personal pleasure, and to disregard any greater obligations.
