Why are left-wing games obsessed with vitiligo?

They can make a character model of ambiguous race and have their skin reflect that too.

I just wondered what you guys thought on this.

As far as I can see this is mostly within video games and I guess that's because it's the most flexible medium in this regard (character creators, etc).

I'll just put two examples below but there are loads and I'm sure many gamers are aware of this by now!

the foids that actually have to work somewhat to survive get into these bullshit industries - they are ugly, have facial deformities etc. Putting their own self-insert bullshit, disorders of any kind included, into video games is a form of power play + revenge for perceived slights of "patriarchy" against them (they blame men for their ugliness)

In reality this is just virtue signaling bullshit, and I can guarantee you that less than .5% of the players actually have this condition. Most players just end up creating a normal looking character the majority of time anyways, as seen in the BG3 character maker stats.

Instead of focusing on BS like this devs should work on bettering their games, and focus on not having day one 50gb patches.

Yeah I guess it seems to be often used as a token disability in the same way that you get token black people.

It's easy to add in and ticks a checkbox.

It's really sad that this is what gaming has come to.

Even if you drop character creators completely they still want to make the premade game characters like this.

There's nothing wrong with having characters that look normal or nuanced - it can help with immersion and realism - but this feels so forced.
