Why are girls so much into boy bands, but boys aren't into girl bands?

Because liking girl bands isn't masculine. Men expressing their sexual interest is disgusting to society, while women can soak over backstreet boys or whatever however they like.
Girl bands don't make music for boys. But boy bands definitely make music for girls.

It's designed to appeal to female audience. Though plenty of men now listen to kpop girl bands, because they are horny, females are still the main audience.
I listen to female singers cause they are pretty and i also have Low T levels.
I think it's just because most girl bands don't try to appeal to men. idol bands in Japan or some female K-pop groups have a majority male audience.
I remember when groups like "The Wanted" "Skillet" and "One Direction" used to be popular and the answer to that is that they always have prettyboys as vocals and foids listened to those bands because of them and not their music. I used to enjoy 2010s it was a good time to be alive especially because of the music. Just play cs 1.6 and listen to Skillet good times also I had no worries at that time if we exclude the fact I was mercilessly bullied.

To add to this, there aren't that many girl bands in the West to the best of my knowledge.
Because girls like status/money and boys in boy bands are attractive (modern ones anyway), while girls in girl bands aren't (modern ones anyway).
Because most of them sucks. Foids in entertainment are largely terrible.
