People completely discount the side-effects of climate change on destabilizing society and the entire world for that matter.

90% of India isn't going to have access to drinkable water in as soon as 10 years. That's nearly 900 million people. What happens when those brown hordes start trying to flood into 1st world nations as refugees? Pakistan is going to have major crop failures and desertification of a lot of farmland which will lead to food shortages. You know how bad political relations have between those 2 countries and I think both are nuclear powers. This completely ignores all the similarly bad shit happening everywhere else.

The current order of things is far more fragile than many of you realize.

I can already imagine:

50 years from now, 500 million currycels have successfully invaded Europe. Iceland is the only white-majority European country left.

I can't wait for this glorious eventuality.

Who is saying society will "collapse over night"? Ever heard of the crisis of the third century AD? Or 14th century BC Mycenaean Greece? Yep, in the end both societies nearly collapse. Both societies came back, and both societies truly collapsed in the following century or two. The traditionalism cycle is unavoidable. We are headed for a time very similar to third century AD Rome.


Edit: So let me make this abundantly clear. I know people are trying to avoid panic etc. by saying that a collapse won't happen. It doesn't matter if a total collapse doesn't happen. Something will devastating is going to happen. It's just a matter of time. With high debt, low fertility, mass migration, and automation; it is simply a matter of time before a crisis situation occurs.

This crisis situation doesn't have to be a collapse per say. It just has to be devastating situation to where the government cannot reach you for any reason within 48 hours. In that situation, the government cannot help you and rule of law is impossible to reinforce. What are you doing now to protect yourself in the event that the government can't keep you safe? Fuck all of this, nothing is going to happen stuff. We are clearly at a crossroads in our civilization's history. What exactly are you doing to protect yourself NOW?
