With all the people getting bullied for things that are completely out of their control (height, face, race, balding, acne, etc.), it's hard to feel sorry for someone who got made fun of for something that was completely under her control. She chose to make a porn video. Nobody forced her to do it. She did it because she thought it would be a quick and easy way to get a pile of cash (an option that is only available to females, another example of female privilege). Like most high reward ventures, it came with high risk, in this case the risk being exposure to her peers, which is what ended up happening.
The logical thing to do would have been not to make the porn video in the first place. Failing that, after she did make the video and got exposed, the next best thing would have been to put things in perspective and remember that as an upper middle class American woman, her life was more privileged than 99% of the world. But because her life had been so privileged, she was unable to handle the adversity from what would have been a pretty minor problem in the long run - people have short attention spans, they would have moved on eventually, and so could she. Not to mention the fact that every incel has gone through far worse than what she went through, and our problems aren't going to just fade away in a few weeks. But she wasn't able to put what happened into perspective, and ended up taking a permanent action for a temporary problem.
It's already been said, but "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" is the best way to summarize what happened here.
