Who were was admin/mod when r/incels got banned?

What happens when a sub gets banned? I mean, do you get into real life trouble or something? Do you just get a message and that's it? I have sometimes considered trying to open subs for other topics, too, but I never did it because I wasn't sure what would happen if you get an energized user base and your sub gets banned for "inciting violence"?
