I disagree. Height alone does not guarantee success, but it absolutely gives an advantage. A tall man, even if ugly, is far more likely to get a chance than a short man of equal looks. Women notice height first, and it overrides a lot of other flaws:

Taller men are seen as stronger, more protective, and more in control. A tall man takes up space in a way that makes people notice him. For women, height also avoids the awkwardness of standing over their partner. If she can wear heels and still be shorter, the pairing feels more natural. It keeps the usual picture of the man as larger and the woman as smaller.

Height is correlated with Dick size very strongly so it tends to be possible for ugly men with both of those traits to get ugly women at least although it is no guarantee. Dylan Klebold was recessed and 6'3 and incel/incel adjacent
