First issue was a standard Ben 10 origin story so there's not much to talk about plot-wise. Art was mediocre. I don’t understand why they hired an artist who can’t draw children to illustrate a story where the main character is a 10 year old. New designs were hit-and-miss. I liked Four Arms and Heatblast but that Vilgax design was atrocious. Og Vilgax already looked menacing and would fit right into this new darker take on the franchise. The new one looks like a generic sci-fi warlord from a mobile game. Overall, I've found it very disappointing. I won't be reading the new issues
