In order for me to accept a character as a legitimate incel they need to show clear interest in women, have women reject them or be clearly repulsed by him AND be clearly drawn as physically unattractive. Also they can't get a gf at any point but that's obvious.

Most "incel" anime characters are either mentalcels, nerdy otaku shutins, or characters who get rejected a lot as a running gag but aren't outright ugly.
