I prefer first one. Better artstyle, better fight choreography and more fights where boxers are using unique technique.

Unfortunetely, there are very few similar anime - sport with good fights. There sre sport anime with strategy, but little with fights.
I've heard, Ashita no Joe is more about psychological aspects rather fights.

I love Ippo, i box irl so it's pretty cool too see how grounded/realistic it is. I love Ippo.
