I also have lucid dreams almost every day, and it is a sweet sweet release from the draining exhaustion of my painful, shitty existence.
But I have another thing I was wondering if anyone else here also has, and thats spontaneous photographic memory while in lucid dream state, which then dissipates quickly.
It goes something like, while im in a lucid state, I sometimes randomly visualise opening a book that im currently reading IRL and turning the pages, and despite making no effort to memorize the words on the pages, In the dream state I can see and read all the words on the pages and can turn the page and all the words on the next page appear crystal clear, and I can mentally "read" the book in the lucid dream state. I have no idea how much of the book I could remember, but its happened many times in past few months where I started mentally reading a book for several pages, then I went to wake up and got the physical book and checked the words, and I was reading them word for word mentally in my dream.
I'll say that again, I made no effort at all to memorize the words I was reading from the various books, and yet my brain under lucid state can recreate every word on several pages of those books exactly like photographic memory, and allows me to mentally read the books without touching the physical book.
Its never been the whole book, only 3 or 4 pages at a time before I wake up, but still, it makes me wonder, if everyone is capable of photographic memory, but some kind of brain processes severely cloud over your recollection of memory, and under a lucid dream state the brain is able to remove the cloud and you can recall with crystalline accuracy every visual stimulus youve seen that day. Idk.
Anyway, anyone have this happen to them before? or similar kinda cool psychic-esque things?
and I by no means have conscious photographic memory, my memory is absolutely terrible especially with daily LDAR, but somehow lucid sleep changes that sometimes.
