I eat at restaurants by myself.

The other day some dad and his daughter sat at my table. I felt shame for not interacting with them (as I always do whenever a lively person gets close to me and I pretend to be an NPC). It doesn't feel human to be ignoring each other like that.

Walking off, I regret everything. Maybe in anime land and pre-9/11 people are approachable.

This society sucks. I agree that the low-trust mindset has become a disease in America.

when i hang out with friends its fun at first but after it settles down i completely disconnect

I’m pretty quiet myself but only because most people are so boring. 50% of the time they’re talking about sports, another 25% they’re talking about reality tv and the remaining 25% they’re talking about celebrities. Now I’m not saying every normie has to be waxing poetic about the ethical implications of this that or the other but at the end of the day they are boring.

Im the same way to honestly. I always tell myself that im getting better at interacting with people (even tho i rarely do it) or im becoming lower “inhibition”, but the moment i try to interact with ANYONE i just fumble and completely breakdown mentally. Its brutal

only around women i do

what kind of restaurant has you sharing tables with strangers?

Most people lead boring lives, so naturally they won’t have anything to discuss. I don’t hold this against normies, but obviously its just the truth. If we are looking at society from a harsh lense, then most people are surplus to requirements, they work fake jobs (especially foids) wageslaving, go home to a rent/mortgage in which there home is owned by another person or the bank and are in a conditional relationship. There is no purpose in modern living.

reminds me when i ate out by myself once, i really had no idea why i did because never again. i really always feel out of place

Yeah I shut down my computers when others are around

I do. Social anxiety completely cripples me in every human interaction.

Even during family gatherings, I tend to sit in a corner and not say anything.

I have no idea how to interact with people irl. Zero initiative.
I can only give short responses like an NPC.

I don't shut down infront of people but once you realize that interaction and the degree of attention you get and the leverage you have in a conversation is always dictated by your looks only, you become a lot less interested in interacting with normie-monkeys in general.

I think that in a lot of unattractive men that lack introspective abilities, this negative feedback they receive when just voicing their opinion and interacting with people in general, leads to them shutting down more and more.
