JFL thinking back to my life in middle school/high school. Rap was such a big deal and everyone was trying to wear big white Ts to imitate the hypermasculine BBC rappers. I tried running white boy rapper game, but soon realized puberty was doing nothing but turning me into a soy boy and my helicopter parents wouldn't let me run degenerate game. So I 180'd and went hard into the emo/hipster scene in HS and tried my best to be a good emotional dumpster for the alternative chicks thinking I'd get sex. I picked up guitar and would try and write songs and sing but had zero talent. Those days I'd cringe thinking about how I used to try white boy rapper game.  Now I look back and cringe at it all because I realize it's all cope.

If you aren't good-looking or are a pariah for whatever other reason, deep investment in subculture is more of a handicap than anything, really. As in most cases, women only take a superficial, physical interest in these things and are likely drawn simply to the associated esthetics as applied to Chads. Fucking around with presenting an image is suited to normfux of proven sexual mettle trying to corner a more specialized market for attention. As an incel, you'd just be doing yourself a social disservice by becoming knowledgeable about or dedicated to something, limiting your ability to communicate with an increasingly homogeneous bloc of people who are interested in very few things.

I remember when I was 14 this group of scene girls kept coming up to me trying to get to know me. I was so shy at the time that I wouldn't even get words out. I would literally just shake my head and nod. After a few attempts to break me out of my shell they wrote me off as a weird aspie and stopped talking to me. I also remember another time when this girl wouldn't stop complimenting my hair and made her boyfriend get the same haircut. And another time I passed this group of girls in the hall and one of them gasped "Oh my god. He's so hot. I love his hair." Oh and this other time where this ugly depressed girl kept trying to get me to come over the her house and go to the movies with her lol. I gave her my email and she kept drawing pictures of me and giving me them. I never hung out with her outside of that class because I was embarassed to be seen in public with her. I would look down every time I saw her in the hallway.

Yes I'm an incel as I couldn't have sex with any of them due to high inhibitions. "Emo game" back when I was 13-15 was literally the only time I got any attention from women in my life. I'm 24 now. It's over for me.
