Under the cult of progressivism, it's assumed that any case in which a man outperforms a woman is from bias or DISADVANTAGE inflicted by the patriarchy. ™
White and Asian men tend to perform the highest on IQ and SAT tests.
Thus, white and Asian men were more represented in technical fields such as coding and finance in the past.
This has been labeled "inequality" and "over representation" by the progressive and feminist cult. They've deemed that the only way white and Asian men did so well was because of advantages given to them by the patriarchy.
And in response, almost all technical jobs now have quotas. These quotas ensure more women will be hired, and less of those pesty white and Asian men who are already overrepresented.
Because of this, the job market is now a nightmare if you're a white or Asian man. You're most likely only going to be considered if you're 1. Extremely above average intelligence wise.
2. Attractive.
The differences between the average income women and men make has also been used to fuel this discrimination against men. Notably, the at the time President of the United States did a speech about "gender wage gaps." All of this was nonsense of course. The reason why men were making more money than women is because men were working more and represented more in higher paying fields. In general, men tend to work more because of evolutionary differences, and they tend to be more represented in higher paying jobs, because again, they're more intellectually inclined to them, while women are drawn to social jobs and work less because they enjoy taking more time off to enjoy themselves.
But ofc, they didn't bother exploring the causes of this discrepancy as doing so would expose men and women's biological differences. Instead they used this as an opportunity to push the narrative that the patriarchy was just as strong as ever and hurting women via discrimination. Which they would then use to push even more QUOTAS to make the job market all the more lovely for women.
And, now since women are starting to out achieve men due to all these advantages they've been given, guess what? It's because women are just better and independent and strong and wonderful!
