You can go back and forth. I agree. But id say you go through all of the stages at some point and acceptance is the final one.

Denial: Maybe I missed out but maybe I still have a change. It cant be THAT bad can it? I cant look/behave that bad?

Acceptance: Well just look forward to wahtever, I know it was over and I am fine with this, "Sigma Male", I guess I delete Social Media/Dating Apps and stop doomscrolling. I also wont and dont want to talk to women or even other people anyway. I am fine on my own.
