I started on 1, and because of that I have a deeper appreciation for the old school games with tank controls. (1-3) the later games got really action focused, which I was not a fan of at all.

However Resident Evil 1 Remake is widely regarded as the best Re game (and survival horror game for that matter ) of all time. Although, I prefer the DS version of Resident Evil 1 because the based developers let you molest Jill’s ass and tits with your stylus and elicit a response from her

The older ones are great too but the controls are horrible and graphics are on ps2 lvl. The new versions are really better in every way

RE4, RE5 and ignore the rest OG RE is the worst piece of shit you can play, RE2-3 are fine but nothing special.

Either 0,1,4 or 7
7 would be a good starting point if you can't handle games with "Outdated controls" Otherwise start with 0
