Unlike a typical 80s film the jocks were not at the top, they were more like normie dorks that took AP classes, and it was white rich BMX kids that had all kinds of piercings and tattoos as teenagers and did a lot of drugs that reigned terror. Though in all honestly the BMX kids were still physically superior and more street smart than the AP jocks, they just eschewed institutions like school and football, and could probably have mogged them at it if they tried.
