My father was working in another country for most of my childhood and teenage years.Now he is a truck driver and i see him once every few months.My mother was an workaholic and she came home when i was sleeping(leaving the house from morning ) .I feel like i raised myself pretty much.I was alone most of the time and since i was in the 1th grade i had to take care of myself.On the other hand it helped me and now i know how to cook,how to wash dishes and clothes,how to clean up the house, etc but my social skills are on the bottom of the pit because of this and the fact that my mother wouldn't allow me to go out to play with the other kids.
