i've never managed to make home out of linux installation. It's just tinkering with the system that never ends. I tried to build a desktop environment from various command line utils and it just didn't work out the way i expected. But if i go the more traditional route with standalone DE it kind of misses the point. Went back to windows and couldn't give less of a fuck.
