I've been using a Yahoo email for ages but I've been meaning to change it for a while for reasons that I will list below.
What email provider do you suggest I migrate to?
(PS: I use Thunderbird)
Here are my candidates:
1- Stay the fuck on Yahoo
Pros:
2- Gmail
Pros:
3- Yandex
Pros:
What email provider do you suggest I migrate to?
(PS: I use Thunderbird)
Here are my candidates:
1- Stay the fuck on Yahoo
Pros:
- I won't have to migrate my whole mailbox to another service.
- I won't have to change my email in every account I've made in 10 years.
- Can't receive immediate notification on desktop client
- Can't receive any notification on desktop client. Thunderbird for some reason cannot automatically fetch my mail most of the time so I have to check manually.
- Yahoo has been hacked many times before.
- I don't like Yahoo it's a Zionist-infested shady shithole.
- It doesn't have email-forwarding.
- Some sites cannot send emails to yahoo for some reason.
- IMAP kinda slow.
2- Gmail
Pros:
- Everybody has it.
- Better security and privacy.
- Fast and robust. Sends and receives emails to/from everywhere with no problem.
- Supports instant desktop client notifications.
- I have to migrate.
- The web mail login process is a nightmare. You have to have a phone and since I don't update my Android and my apps I'm afraid I'll get locked out some day.
- I don't like Google.
- Doesn't have folders and has "labels" instead which is stupid.
- Extremely confusing and eyesore web mail.
- The equivalent of my yahoo username is taken and I can't think of a username.
3- Yandex
Pros:
- Thunderbird can check it every 1 minute giving me timely notifications.
- Is Russian so less cucked. Also I counter western intelligence gathering by giving all my data to Russia as well.
- Easiest web mail login.
- Clean and user friendly web mail.
- Doesn't have instant desktop notifications.
- Have to migrate.
- Russian based so even if it gets hacked they might hush it.
- Never seriously tried it so it might have problems I don't know of, most importantly not being able to receive certain emails like Yahoo.
