Tried out Kubuntu and Pop!_OS

just put MX on my old azz laptop along with an SSD. xfce version. Really like it so far, the wifi worked, screen brightness and volume buttons, even the bluetooth. Most distros you have to fight with that shit for 2 days to get it to half-work

I ran Kali Live a couple of times, picked out everything, including WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.

My permanent install is Debian 12, which is good, but did not pick up the WiFi adapter. It does work with my 4G mobile hotspot, though. And, there is always good old RJ45 for when I’m at home.
