One of my friends is married and his wife is manipulative and toxic, to me its pretty clear that she doesn't respect him or like him. I think she likes the validation and the fact that she doesn't have to be alone as I suspect she has abandonment issues.

Just because there's a woman willing to be in a relationship with you, doesn't mean that its a relationship built on mutual respect, love or anything like that.

As an ugly incel I have my doubts whether I will ever find a woman who will genuinely find me attractive, therefore its rather pointless to chase a relationship. very well said, I learned about women before I even had internet as my mom is one of the most evil vile foids I know, and she divorced my father when I would only 5, it was constant fighting and alchoholism on her side, then she got with my stepdad and did the same shit to him, fought him and got into heated arguements.
