There's LOTS of good men out there. Problem is, they're usually not physically attractive. The good men who ARE good looking get snatched up early on and tend to STAY married/taken. What's left? Good looking assholes who can't KEEP a relationship, and ugly guys who can't START a relationship.
My advice to women in this situation? If you can't get commitment from a good looking guy, then STAY SINGLE! Have bootycalls for your sexual needs, and friends for your emotional needs. Don't reduce yourself to a prostitute by dating those plain looking and naive men you know damn well you have no real sexual interest in. That shit ain't "virtuous" or "mature" behavior. It's deceptive as hell!

Asking people to settle sounds good in theory, but in practice it doesn't work out so well. Older women and provider seekers lower their looks standards all the time, and the guys usually end up miserable. The woman is prone to cheat. She'll also be very demanding/high-maintenance, with very high expectations in order to compensate for his looks. This puts a lot of stress on the guy. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tries to compensate and please her, it'll never truly be enough to fill the void left by her lack of physical attraction toward the guy. Lastly, there's often an undercurrent of resentment toward the guy she settled for. Once she feels she has him locked down, that underlying resentment finally reveals itself. The sex stops and the meanness starts. Piss her off enough and she'll divorce rape you into poverty.
In the long run, you're stuck with a roommate you can't stand, with the threat of poverty looming over your head if every little thing isn't to her satisfaction, and you're basically incel again on top of all that.
