Noticing something weird today. Every year, like clockwork, the so-called “fakecels” vanish the moment Thanksgiving rolls around.
One minute they’re posting nonstop, next minute—poof—radio silence.

Makes you wonder:
Are they really spending the holiday alone like they claim?
Or are they actually hanging out with family, eating turkey, and just LARPing the rest of the year?

Not calling anyone out by name, but patterns are patterns.
If someone only disappears on holidays, that’s… interesting.

Anyone else notice this?

Honestly, the holiday-only disappearances are the biggest giveaway. If you can post 20 times a day on any random Tuesday but suddenly “need a break” on Thanksgiving… yeah, okay.

It's always the same people too. They’re super active when they want attention, but when normal life events happen, suddenly they're too busy to be online. Says a lot.

Or maybe they’re just with their families and don’t want to doomscroll during dinner. Doesn’t mean they’re lying—just means they might be exaggerating the “I’m alone” thing the rest of the year.

Holiday posting patterns expose all sorts of online personas. People forget that activity spikes and dips can reveal more than their actual words.

I don’t think everyone who disappears is a “fakecel” but yeah, the timing is kind of funny. If you vanish only on major U.S. holidays, that’s pretty suspicious if your whole persona depends on claiming you have no one.

I'm currently in my room rotting.

Whats wrong with that? Your family stays by you either youre fakecel or not, even if they hate you jfl.

i have no “thanksgiving freebies”, eating chips and might pop toasts in the oven but it feels too depressing to even do that right now. i didn’t get up and nothing ever feels right; i’m simply aware of this strange aged-brain yet nonatrophying reality. time slips you by when that’s the case, it seeps through your entire sad existence

So eating turkey on thanksgiving with a blood relative makes you a "fakecel" now? Just lol.

There's a vocal minority on here that insist the only "truecels" are autistic hikikomori NEETs and that NT guys who go outside are "fakecels" even if they're sub5 KHHVs. This forum really needs to stop entertaining these ideas and simply mock them instead.

we need to keep track of who's suspiciously offline during these times

eating shitty ass food with your boomer family is fakecel?

I am going to stuff my face, its the one few times of year I can not give a fuck the whole day.

I wish I didn't have to waste half the day with my retarded boomer family blathering on about Trump and sucking Jew dick.

I noticed this on other holidays. Brought my morale down

Happy Yanks giving

This day is not a holiday here, not every user comes from America.

Then I'd probably be a "fakecel" too if I had dinner at my mother's house for Christmas. Completely ridiculous.
