For most people anyway, depending on what your parents were like.

It wasn't all perfect but... it's nice to feel so loved and valued and to have a family around you.

As an adult... this can be very hard to find as a guy. For women it's much easier to find of course and PLUS they tend to see their boyfriend a bit like "Daddy" too so they get even more of that feeling of being taken care of than guys typically do.

It can be a lonely life for guys especially as an adult, and in a way maybe feeling so cared for as a kid can make it sting more that as an adult you don't have it.
