Beauty is subjective, but only in the same way e.g. judging meals is subjective.

There are different preferences, both due to individual variations and cultural factors, but typically most people can agree on what's crap. And for food, you shouldn't even consider stuff sold in restaurant, because they wouldn't be able to sell it if nobody wanted it, but random things you "could" eat. For example, lots of mushrooms are "inedible" not because they are poisonous - they are not - but because they ruin every meal for everyone. In the same way, some kinds of looks can ruin any beauty but there are slight differences when you go to the "top" tier.

So essentially some people are so ugly everyone will consider them ugly. But others can be judged anywhere between HTN+ to Chad probably.

I myself prefer early second gens and have one, but both are nice. You don’t see anyone flocking to buy and restore 4 door station wagon cars from the same era. Why, because their looks are inferior to the muscle cars, so why should anyone care enough to save them from the junkyards?
