Tbh, at this point I'm not sure whether I wouldn't count the LLMs we already have as AGI. Futurists and AI apostles or however you want to call them were just overtly optimistic about what an AGI would be and assumed that artificial consciousness would just naturally come with such wide-ranging capabilities, but so far that seems to be the only part of it that remains sci-fi.
