My standards are usually low but TR simply didn't have any redeemable qualities to me. I would've watched it if it did atleast one thing good.
The animation and fight choreography is nothing to speak of. Which makes all the fight scenes rely on emotional investment. But the emotional conflicts are juvenile and trivial shonen trash. The characters are insufferable (besides Sano Manjiro, kisaki Tetta and that tall dude). The concept of time travel makes no sense and unlike Steins Gate they don't do anything interesting with it.
But the worst part by far is the MC
