No, it’s not a joke. My father used to “joke” about us having a small penis, both of us have a sub 4.5” penis, I only know because he told me. They hide their insecurities and passive aggressive behavior behind jokes, but they aren’t jokes.

Jokes are just genuine criticisms that get hyperbolized or exaggerated in a way that isn't real so the joker cannot be held accountable, or pinned. But in reality, it wouldn't be funny unless it brought true irony that undignified someone. And in that ambiguity of the hyperbole/ exaggeration comes the indignity of someone who has been made fun off unable to probably apprehend the joker, or the criticism source in life, and then, they get even more fucked/ adds another layer to humor.
That's why they say jokes are half true, because usually it's half solid substance and half exaggeration/ indignity.
