For me it's the first option, i have to see everything and talk to every NPC multiple times or else i'm not satisfied.

I try to be the first option but i always miss stuff

I am usually satisfied seeing around 70% of a game and then beating it. If I really enjoyed playing it, I will go back to it to see more or even complete it 100%.

Completionist for sure. I don’t care about finishing a game as quick as possible and much prefer taking my time to fully enjoy everything

speedrunner I got a habit of getting through the good stuff as quick as possible in terraria

how many hours do you have? I quit the game years ago and played on and off I was at around 950 hours

It depends on the game, if I like it at the first introductory walkthrough, then I clean it up 100%, whether it's all side quests or trying not to kill anyone, as in Deus ex or Dishonored.

A lot, my sequence usually is:

Silver Sword/Rotted fork -> BoC/EoW -> Shadow Armor -> EoC -> Blood butcher/Bane -> Blade of Grass -> Skeletron -> Waterbolt -> Muramasa -> Hell -> Fiery GS -> Night's Edge as soon as possible -> Lava Armor -> Wall of Flesh -> Hard mode.

Reaching Hard mode could take me 3-4 days or a week depends on my endurance.

Neither, I usually never finish the game as I restart all the time when I haven't played for some time, then never finish it and then the cycle repeats.

Brutal.

More of a speedrunner than completionist

When I was gamercel I was more of a "completionist" tbh. If I was also to ever gamermaxx again, it would be OVER for me on (.is).:feelskek::feelscry:

Speedrunning for me.

I finish games without 100%ing, then watch in fascination how people speedrun the titles I've played for so long.

Not a hard completionist but i like to take my time, even if it means playing the same game for weeks. I don't do shitty achievements requiring doing some random shit for hours though, those are retarded.

I prefer to explore the whole, otherwise I would feel like a bitch who got cucked. In a way I also speedrun the whole game into completion while also exploring and collecting everythig I can.

Yeah i don't really care for achievements either.

Imagine you are going into a mission and on the way you found some collectibe , you should pick it up. there are other people who will not pick it up and come back later to collect it. thats me.

You really couldn't pay me to 100% most of the games I play, but at the same time I'm not naturally skilled enough to speedrun them. It's a balance for me

honestly if i notice that i missed something i will quickly check out what is it about to see if it's worthwhile, most of the time i will shrug it off even if it's an achievement.

but these collectibles or items help to upgrade and make better eqipments and abilities, so it is worthwhile to not ignore. Although activities like collecting feathers is not very rewarding.

post hard mode is smooth sailing after mechs

I meant your total playtime btw

it's true but things that are only for achievements or collection purpose sucks ass, it's even worse when it's not even lore related and won't give you anything other than an achievement

it is supoosed to give you satisfaction that you have collected and achieved something 90pc of world popu has not like finding all the secrets papers or items. thats where the feeling of fulfillment is for some.

When i've finished a game i usually do stuff like making an op build or doing the game again. I'm not a fan of collectibles side quests if it's not for some extra gear or content. Only game i've truly 100% was mario sunshine even if it's collecting shit so it's kind of ironic, but i really liked the game's atmosphere and was already close to 100% it.

idk couldn't count cuz i pirated it but it's one of the most played video game of my life on par with monster hunter freedom unite.

nah i find duke fishron and moonlord fucking difficult, also that alien invasion I think it's the hardest event in the game.

I try to complete as much stuff as possible in one or two play throughs. I never “speed run” a game unless I’ve already completed it and I’m just going for some miscellaneous achievements

I recently beat Resident Evil Village for the first time, took my sweet time as well and looted as much as possible.

I beat the game in 7 hours lmao.

really depends, if my backlog is very long i wont go full 100% if its dry i will take my time, if its good game i liked i might not 100% but will add to favs and replay later. If im paying for a game 100% going completion and if i pirate its all of the shi i mentioned above.

Option 1 all the way

Depends on the game.

If it's a game I really like or a deep game like RPG, then I'm an autistic completionist.

But, I also have 10000+ games saved on my PC and I like to try them out. I also do achievements.

I try to strike a balance between the two. :feelsthink:

I don’t really play games that have objectives. I just play some car driving games and that’s it

I play games to 100% complete them. I'm sitting at a 76% average game completion rate on steam and that even includes things like Jackbox packs and games i opened for 20 minutes and never touched again that both bring my score down

Prefer the bow, eh?
I'm a sword man myself.

Depends on the game.

1 player games is the obvious choice, beat it asap while being finesse as possible.

Player vs player, I try to win every single game.

I think some achievements in games are extremely BS difficult to get, but I do try to get all the achievements except for extremely tedious ones. At the same time, I try not to rush through the game.

Even in one GTA game I was doing speedrun strats while playing casually

If I like the game I try to do everything. If I don't then I just try to get the game over with.
