The moral view of insecurity (where you shoud love yourself amidst your flaws) it's laughable bs. It shoudl be well known people's moral/ ethical stances is just a veneer to justify their pursuit of superfciality.
Insecurity just tries to fight against that bullshit hierarchy we all live by.
Basically calling you insecure has a byproduct connotation of being a tryhard and you should look for self love. But that implies you are unright to bump yourself off from the foodchain by working hard to change yourself.
Fake is a matter of opinion. Those who are optimists or look for greatness should consider themselves "evolved, refined, optimal".
Makeup is the same.
Because of it being cultural for females they do it and cover themselves up for "adornment, out on the town, class". But there is an emotional gradient to things people like. When they like themselves being of value because of looks then they don't like themselves if they don't look good.
Look how most girls act when they go without makeup. Anxious. Not because they couldn't do their favorite thing, but because they don't like themselves.
The way they are without makeup shows their motivation for it. When people are under pressure people want to alleviate it.
BEING without something, bare bones, shows them for their intentions where the pressure would be.
If they go outside without makeup most go into tension, rather than enjoyment (love) to do something. Most emotions are rooted in either love and fear. And insecurities are just pervading fears that eliminate your sense of confidence.
It is just cultural convention that covers up women and their insecurity.
Masculinity used to be encouraged, and there were thousands of shaming tactics pre-political correctness for men who were not masculine. And men were more fitter, people were more beautiful back then when masculinity and femininity were held. Now we have mcdonalds and soy drinks.
Insecure societies are healthier.
And anger, hate are the psyche resources of those strong enough to hold onto them.
The weak are the people pretending to be confident.
