Well, don't emphasize that you love chess to women. Women basically hate chess and they can't play it either. Chess is a man's game through and through. Women are bored to tears by it.
If you are going to talk about your chess hobby to a woman, talk about it in an arrogant, take it or leave it bitch, I don't give a fuck if you like it or not bitch, type of way. Women say they hate guys like this, but they actually respect them a lot more. Women respect guys who stand up and fight for themselves, act like they don't give a fuck what women think, do what they want, say take it or leave it, and cuss them out when they are mean. If you don't stand up to yourself or fight back against them, they think you are a Beta puss and treat you accordingly. You don't have to act angry or mean around women (actually it is a bad idea), but acting like "I don't take any shit from bitches" is usually a good thing.
This is not the same thing as being hostile. It's just the Alpha mindset. Think about the differences between this and hostility, which is a huge turnoff to women.
