Why tf did I do this, at the time I thought maybe she would find the act tough and cool or something. I would wear hats all the time and walk with my head up kind of and with a serious expression, trying to seem “arrogant and in control”. I’d also try to seem serious, quiet, and mysterious and would try to talk like royalty when I did speak. Yeah it didn’t work and she would just sometimes give me weird looks and laugh at me because of it.
