They were forced to invade Poland because they were about to go bankrupt.

The money these workers earn, or the suppliers of machinery and building materials, for example, is converted back into consumption, which gives other industries the opportunity to produce. They then also need raw materials, machinery, workers, etc., and their workers, in turn, consume their wages.
