No, actually most 16 year olds I knew had a developed body. I've known 13 year old foids with the body of an adult.

Humans are not even meant to live longer than 50 years or something, so that girls peak at an early age is just natural. During the stone ages the average age of a pregnancy for a girl was 13. A peak in fertility at the age of 16 makes way more sense than peaking in their twenties where they don't even grow / develop anymore, both biologically and historically, as even our great-grandparents generation had children at that age.

We're not in stone age, ppl live till like 80. What was the birth mortality back when they DID have kids at 16? The pelvis isn't wide enough or as structurally sound at that age, even if they do look grown. Fertility isn't measured by how GL, but how many uncomplicated pregnancies & healthy kids they can have. When they're still growing it doesn't physically make sense to get pregnant.
