There are jobs that maybe looks wont be such a big problem, but in most cases looks hold us back and by a lot.
Just few weeks ago I read interview of one professor from my country, he was approving or denying licenses of becoming a attorney. In this interview he told that his job is not easy because sometimes candidates are prepared in theoretical aspects, but he saw guy and "he knew this guy wont be a good lawyer " so he intentionally failed this guy and denied him license to become attorney.
To even participate to the test in Poland you have to pass 5 years of studies at university, 3 years of (often unpaid) attorney training. 8 years of hard work straight into dust because some old professor thinks you are too short/too ugly and too shy

8 years tp dust because you got unlucky and drew wrong bones lenght
