Experiment When buying alcohol, are you typically asked for your ID?

I always get IDed when I buy. Don’t blame though, I genuinely look like I’m 16.

Very rarely but sometimes I'm asked yes. At this point I'm bald and have facial hair so I'm surprised when they ask

No, here it's common to sell alcohol to even 14 years old kids. They don't care because they earn money.

Fun fact: in Germanic countries, you can buy beer and wine at 16 in the supermarket, and liquor at 18. I never bought liquor before, but beer and wine at 16, I was asked for ID yes.

only time I get ID'd now is if i go to a store other than my routine one they've stopped id'ing me but most other places do
