I'm pretty sure every organism here wants to visit Japan so when do you want to go? I'd want to visit maybe in about 5 years. I spoke to one of my workmates who told me he wanted to open a restaurant there. Most people love Japanese culture and such anyway so I imagine it would be a nice trip.

Never. And I don't get the fascination either. Before anime went mainstream, going to Japan was considered something of a fringe behavior even among people who consoomed Jap products, and arguably made you a "weeaboo" (as it could be seen as a pilgrimage-like activity). After normies started liking anime suddenly everyone wants to go JFL. It's the same way how anime merch in public etc. used to be cringe until anime was mainstream and suddenly it wasn't. It's not "weirdos" but in fact NORMIES who are the cringiest people on Earth

There's a very strong chance I will be spending September-December there in Osaka. Won't be for vacation this time though
