I remember I was following my crush on Twitter and she tweeted something like "oh, it could happen on our campus, we got to take this seriously." And this is what she was talking about, some guy anonymously posting about how he's tired of rejection and bad looks, and how he's going to "take a headshot at a hot blonde."

Obviously when I heard about this I immediately thought about ER, shooting a campus up because of rejection, and even mentioning hot blondes. I'm pretty sure he was inspired by ER. Anyway, when this was posted people on campus were scared and the school got shutdown for the day. They investigated the threat and found out it was some player from the school football team, imagine that. You're some big, tall, status maxed campus mogger but that's not enough to compensate for your face. Dude was kicked off the football team and charges were filed. I don't know what happened after that.
