What historical era is your favorite?

Mine is either Victorian England, Renaissance Italy, and Ancient Greece/Rome.

Probably XIX century. Especially second half of XIX century. Life was harder in general but less restrictions on personal freedoms, prostitution was seen as natural.
World still wasn't fully explored ( Africa, Amazonia, some parts of Asia ).
Average man still had a chance to become a pioneer.
Fundamental science reached it's peak. Scientists had freedom of research without today's woke restrictions.

I also would want to visit a middle ages.

The Victorian age in Britain influenced America as well. No sexual promiscuity, very little prostitution, women were required to be virgins at marriage.
