Whats up with the insane increase of RAM prices ?

I bought some new PC parts and will still buy a few more and i could get most for a somewhat acceptable price. But i noticed that there has been an insane shortage of RAM sticks, its sold out on most official online shops and the shipping times for most RAM on e.g. Amazon is months. Not to mention the prices, all the good offers are gone and only the exorbitant offers with long waiting times are still available. I bought some RAM now and im lucky i did because the price for the sticks i bought increased by over 50% after i bought them.

Apparently the reason is AI companies are frantically building datacenters and that has caused a scarcity of components, for some reason specifically the ones required to manufacture RAM.

Couple days ago I checked the current price for sticks that I bought back in August, and it has increased 400% since then.

Pc builders need ram
ram makers see this and choose to focus only on the AI data centers since they give them way more $$$ compared to pc builders
So all the ram is being redirected to ai companies which means less ram for everybody else meaning higher prices for you

I bought ram for about 120 bucks for 32 gigs.

But now the same ram kit is 280 bucks.

Maybye foids are slowly trying to kill pc building as they need more male worshippers. Ram prices increasing is a disguise for a feminist lobby aimed at disrupting gaming pc conscrutction.

AI will keep getting more popular in the future. Also i dont understand soys who keep saying muh AI is soulless or that its bad. Nearly every product and food you use in your daily life has been produced by automated machines who run with the help of some sort of AI

DDR 4 price went up but still affordable this ram price increase just affected ddr5 since that cost too much money just hardware hibernate until these ai company become full of ram and ddr6 comes out
