It was a great time cause the internet was still in its early stages.

I remember playing the Nintendo Wii with my grandpa back then and there was lots of alt influence too (can’t forget those colored animal bracelets and wrist snaps)

I remember I used to get bullied by this one older edgy kid but later down the line we played Tony hawk on the ps2

Being young and hopeful. Still having curiosity to this world. Those are the things that I miss the most.

It's the same as "return to tradition" people but to a much lesser extent and without understanding why. The modern age is terrible and getting worse daily, it's not surprising that we yearn for past times. Things weren't perfect but it is preferable to the shity present which has experienced further decay. At it's core nostalgia for a time period that you barely (or never) lived in reflects a dissatisfaction with modernity.

Our modern society lacks any main components, this is the generation of isolation and consumerism, consumerism was present back then but has worsened to a point that it shapes the perceptions of the youth.
